In conjunction with the recent release of the third annual National Solar Jobs Census, we will be discussing the solar industry's enormous growth with Andrea Luecke (@SolarAnde), executive director of The Solar Foundation; Joe Sarubbi (@IRECUSA), project manager for IREC; and Julie Zhou (@cleanedison), director of marketing and partnerships for CleanEdison.

Ms. Luecke leads The Solar Foundation and is responsible for developing and implementing national educational initiatives and high-level research that promote the widespread adoption of solar energy. Ms. Luecke played a key role in authoring and releasing the award-winning National Solar Jobs Census 2010, 2011 and 2012 and currently plays a leadership role on the U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Solar Outreach Partnership program while also providing IREC with advanced technical support on the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Instructor Training Network project.

With more than 35 years experience in education and the electrical industry, Mr. Sarubbi serves as Project Manager for IREC, National Administrator of U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Instructor Training Network. He is a professor, former department chair of the Building Systems Technology department, and served as Director of the Hudson Valley Apprenticeship Association for Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC). Prior to joining IREC’s team, Joe was the Executive Director of TEC-SMART, HVCC’s “Training and Education Center for Semi-Conductor Manufacturing and Alternative and Renewable Technologies”. Joe is the Project Manager for IREC, National Administrator of U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Instructor Training Network.

Ms. Zhou is responsible for CleanEdison’s online marketing initiatives, website, and press relations. Prior to joining CleanEdison, Julia was a marketing consultant at Publicis Groupe, where she consulted on advertising and promotional strategies for Fortune 100 brands in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science.
